The Love Verb
Loving family in times of difficulty
In the realm of family, love should prevail or at least offer a sense of being cherished.
Do they love me, my family, when opinions clash and perspectives diverge?
Is love present amidst our arguments and clashes?
The fear of losing them grips me, just as I hope they fear losing me.
If moments of casting away or temporary punishments occur, does love still linger?
Understanding seems elusive between us, a two-way street of confusion.
The desire to keep my family intact raises questions about my own love for them.
Is love a sentiment alone, or does it manifest through actions too?
My heart senses affection for my family; do they reciprocate the sentiment?
Harmony thrives when flaws remain unspoken.
Assistance becomes smoother when familial bonds prompt mutual inquiries.
Am I contributing to this unity? Am I extending my hand?
Even if the echoes of love seem distant, I choose to love them steadfastly.
For that is the treatment I yearn for, as the verb of love showers grace.
