Love is a roller coaster

Love is understanding

Love is patient

Love is tough

Love is compromise

Love is sacrifice

Love is oneness

Love is openness

Love is long-suffering

I wouldn't have it any other way

A better man I am because of it

But a troubled man I am also

I wait for the day that it is in its proper time for you and I

When that day comes I shall be freed from these shackles that I bare

But in all actuality maybe I'm just overreacting

But in that at least you know I care

Yes, I am a passionate man

Many demons I do have within me

And their love is unconditional

And they do require the same

Insane I will drive you

So that means that you love me through the moments of misunderstanding as I do for you

Our relationship is of no double standard

We play by the same rules

And those rules are made with respect for one another
