The Loop
All it took was a rejection
And then I saw it... I saw the loneliness in his eyes, the unbridled rage that's waiting to break out, the love that he wants but knows that he can't have, the passion he feels but doesn't know what to do with it no matter what he does.
I've seen him walking around with nothing to say his whole life and he tries the best he can but he always gets shit back...
It was all full circle, nothing but a loop, the kind that Tom Cruise was stuck in in Edge of Tomorrow so the best he had to do to change that was to break it and he went his way instead without anyone with him

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
