The lonely road stretches far and wide,
Its dusty trail seemingly endless to ride.
No travelers in sight, just solitude and space,
As the sun sets and darkness begins to trace.
The trees whisper secrets as the wind blows,
The leaves rustling a language nobody knows.
The road twists and turns, never-ending it seems,
As if it's leading to a place of forgotten dreams.
Footsteps echo, bouncing off the empty land,
A lonely traveler, seeking an outstretched hand.
The silence can be deafening, the darkness suffocating,
Yet, the traveler's heart keeps anticipating.
Though the road may be lonely, it is not alone,
For the traveler's spirit has made it a home.
And so, they continue, one step at a time,
Trekking the lonely road, searching for a sign.
