The Lonely Girl

Finding Light in the Darkness

By Black RosePublished about a year ago 1 min read

She walks alone in fading light,
Through quiet streets and endless night.
The stars above seem far away,
But their soft glow still lights her way.

Her shadow moves along the ground,
But not a soul can hear a sound.
The world goes on, life doesn’t wait,
In silence, she faces her fate.

She hopes for someone by her side,
To hold her hand and stay the night.
But there she stands, apart, unseen,
A lonely girl with fragile dreams.

Yet in her eyes, there’s still a spark,
A little light within the dark.
She knows that after all the rain,
The sun will always rise again.
