The Little 'Man'!
A poignant poem about a young orphan's journey on the road
The Little Wanderer
On desolate streets, a boy does roam
No home to call his own, no place to call home
An orphan's life, a fate unsealed
Left to face the world, with heart revealed
His eyes, a window to a soul so bright
Reflect the hardships, of day and night
He searches for scraps, with a weary face
A constant struggle, a lonely pace
The wind whispers secrets, of a life untold
Of parents lost, and a future cold
He holds on to hope, like a beacon light
Guiding him through, the darkest night
His footsteps echo, on the empty road
A solitary journey, with no abode
The world rushes by, with a deafening sound
Leaving him behind, with a sorrow unbound
Yet still he walks, with a spirit bold
A testament to, a heart untold
For in the darkness, a spark remains
A flame of resilience, that refuses to wane
