In its own little tube

Kept in a box or carried about

This item is essential

To create the perfect pout

It can cost a pretty penny

It can be cheaper than takeout food

It depends upon the wearer

To pronounce the item “good”

It can come in many colors

Shades of red and shades of nude

It can even come in purple

It can even come in blue

It takes patience to apply it

One should never be too quick

When finishing their look

With their favorite lipstick
