"The Light Within"

I used to wander in the deep darkness,

Far from home, on an unfamiliar route.

The world was vast, but I was tiny.

Fearful to stand up, to risk, to call.

The night was so long and the winds were so cold that I looked for my place.

But a glimmer of light through the shadows,

A flash from the corner of the eye.

It clearly and softly called me onward.

I nearly heard a whisper.

"Child, do not look away; the dawn will come to light your day," it informed me.

Despite my doubts, I lurched forward and stared up at the overcast sky.

I questioned whether I would ever achieve the mental tranquility and serenity I was looking for.

I was unable to direct the roads ahead, the rivers were broad, and the mountains towered.

Even so, I continued to move despite my growing terror.

My soul would jump somewhere profound.

The clouds finally broke one day, and a soft warmth emerged.

All of my doubts abruptly stopped when the sun rose above the hill.

Even if it was uncertain at the time, the route ahead now appeared to be one I would travel again.

Because I realized in the light that the voyage was both good and difficult.

As the light started to shine, I realized that the challenges I had experienced were a part of who I was, and I had grown to see this with every stride.

that every wound I had and every tear I shed had brought me to this proud place.

Because what was lost was not in vain; rather, it strengthened me through both happiness and suffering.

I will now proudly stand my ground in the face of howling and roaring winds.

Because I have discovered throughout the years that the light within will always shine, even amid the darkest fears.

A constant, luminous, everlasting symbol.

In the face of roaring winds and howling, I shall now proudly hold my ground. Because even in the midst of the darkest anxieties, the light within will always shine, as I have learned throughout the years.
