The Light of the World

Teachers, you are the light of the world,

Guiding us through the darkness.

You show us the way,

And help us to grow.

You teach us the things we need to know,

To make our way in the world.

You help us to understand,

And to think for ourselves.

You are patient and kind,

Even when we are not.

You believe in us,

Even when we don't believe in ourselves.

Thank you, teachers,

For all that you do.

You make the world a better place,

One student at a time.
