Two glowing orbs of light float through the air

Lost in this infinite mess of time

Letters join and mix, trying to form in rhyme

Hearts beat louder and louder, as the orbs join as one

Light through the trees, shows what they have become

A world so dark nothing could be seen

Not even the swaying grass in the wind

All orbs confined and dimmed

For light was the problem, So it was to leave

To change its ways, to shine less bright

But they combine and the light returns

Petals stretch out to embrace this force

They have gone so long without

The world restores the way it should be

But still they know

Soon the light will be gone

Holding on to the slightest flicker of light

she stands waiting to meet his eyes once more

to bring back the light

to float like the orbs
