Who get's yours?

No need to watch the popcorn levels,

My dad brought it to the room

Have you noticed he faced the bowl in your direction?

If it’s something good,

He’ll make sure the last handful is for you.

.

Does anyone else want chocolate?

He's unlikely to get it if it's just for himself

Quickly in the kitchen he'll also stack my brother's left out dishes,

The thankless man we infrequently help.

.

He’s confused with watching WandaVision

Swinging his feet like a 3 year old,

Cause the show doesn't have his full attention

but for his children, he's happily cajoled.

.

War movies are his show of choice,

And he recycles the same joke

His evening duty is to check our bedroom blinds

Incase the CIA's outside our windows.

.

Rest easy every night son

His creed is to know you're comfortable,

He's innately kind and sacrificial,

It's how he's built our home.
