Unspoken Sorrows

Words fail me, trapped in a strangled choke,

As the dam within my heart begins to croak.

Tears paint stories that my tongue cannot tell,

Overflowing rivers where emotions dwell.

Each falling drop, a silent scream,

Of shattered dreams and a broken seam.

Memories dance, bittersweet and bright,

Leaving behind a hollow, aching night.

The world blurs through raindrops' haze,

Each object warped in a grief-stricken daze.

But in this language of silent rain,

My soul finds solace, easing the pain.

For tears speak louder than words ever could,

Washing away the hurt, misunderstood.

And when the storm subsides, the sun finds its way,

My heart, though marked, may heal another day.
