The Language of Silence

Exploring the unspoken intimacy and connection of true love

By Gokhan PolardPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
The Language of Silence

In stillness, we find a language,

One that's not heard, but felt,

A connection beyond words,

One that makes our hearts melt.

Silence is not just emptiness,

It's a canvas for love to paint,

A melody that only two can hear,

A bond that nothing can taint.

It speaks of moments of beauty,

Of memories that linger on,

Of secrets shared between lovers,

Of a trust that's never gone.

It echoes through the night,

Like a symphony of the heart,

It's a language that needs no words,

But speaks of love from the start.

For in the language of silence,

We find a love that's true,

It's the whispers of our souls,

That speak of forever with you.

So let us embrace the stillness,

And listen to what it brings,

For in the language of silence,

Is where we find the most beautiful things.

I wrote the poem 'The Language of Silence' to celebrate the power and beauty of love that goes beyond words. For me, silence has always been a means of communication between two people who are deeply connected and in love. It is in the moments of stillness and intimacy that the most profound messages are conveyed, and the unspoken bonds between two people become apparent.

Through this poem, I wanted to remind others that true love can be felt and understood without the need for words, and that sometimes, the absence of words can speak louder than anything else. It is my hope that this poem inspires others to appreciate the power of silence in their own relationships and to embrace the beauty of love that goes beyond words.
