The Language of Leaves

In their gentle descent

Leaves fall softly,

whispering secrets to the earth—

a language written in amber and gold,

in rustling songs beneath the wind.

Each one a story,

a quiet farewell,

carried on the breath of autumn,

dancing toward the ground like fleeting memories.

They speak of endings,

and beginnings hidden beneath the surface—

the promise that even as they fade,

new life waits, patient and unseen.

In their gentle descent,

there is a grace,

a surrender that teaches us to let go

and trust the turning seasons of our own hearts.
