Puppies,
Kitties,
Birds,
Toys,
Rainbows,
Wizard of Oz,
Cause
Peepers
Say no more stories on politics.
No more complaints,
Or bitchy sessions
Or politics.
Meow!
Meow!
This old cat lady
Will say blah!
I am on the precipice
Of losing my,
Social Security,
Medicare,
Snap,
Medicaid.
At 75 I have news for you
Boo,
When I lose those benefits,
Then I and millions will die.
But oh no
There are peeps
Who thinks I am their competition at 75.
At 75, glad to be alive.
Meow!
Meow!
Life is lollypops,
Balloons,
Chantilly lace,
Puppies,
Kitties,
Birds,
No car,
Physically not able to walk the beat
Of the heat of the night
Stars so bright
As I play with my toys,
Puppies,
Kitties
Birds
And bury my head in the sand
In the land of California
As my benefits leave,
But you say just toys
Lollipops
Sugar cookies
In the land of Oz
Cause
Now
Meow
Meow
See no evil
Do no evil
Hear no evil
Throw my ashes in the ocean
Off Dana Point
If that’s illegal
So be it
I will end with a protest
Of the last statement of my political life
Of,
journalism, art, and music.

"A RED ROSE FOR MY LATE POPPA VIC"
Today I 'reflected back' to September 1996. The story is written by me, a 75-year-old woman. However, the video reflects views of an older woman and as a young girl who was always their daddy’s little girl. February 14, 2025, is a day of reflection. My conclusion is now and always was, “My Poppa was my dearest and most caring Valentine a girl could wish for. Happy Valentine’s Day!
