The lamp post faintly glooms...

on a gloomy street...

By MatasPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Hear the sound of crickets outside,

My heart aching like a twinge,

Forever in torment I am without your warmth.

The lamp post faintly glooms on a gloomy street.

Fist held firm as I cope in agony,

The leaves blowing so profusely,

Sparrows are singing me a song:

"Soul bleeds in sin and torment"

Night's dark streets keeps a mind sane,

Covered fields by a white blanket,

Stand out drops of blood I bled for you.

Let the rain wash it away as we're forgotten.

Hear me weep and shout your name:

"Where are you, Precious? We bleed the same!"

Darkened is my heart glooming,

Forever cold and faded.

I am only understood by ghosts,

They see my pain and speak:

"The strongest bleed out last"

Am I really the strongest?

Can you fucking see it,

I'd die and bleed harder for you.

Crows pick out pieces of my leftovers.

The lamp post faintly glooms on a gloomy street.
