The Key Ring

A symbol of power

Little pieces of metal,

on a silver ring they’re found.

Each one will settle,

to whom a thing is bound.

If you want to protect it,

then use a key and a lock.

This system you can fit,

on everything you’ve got.

I will keep a thief,

from taking your favorite things.

That way there’ll be no grief,

and no complaints it brings.

A wise man once asked,

why do people steal?

If it’s not yours and that’s a fact,

then what’s the deal?

If you do not have what you want.

Don’t let evil succeed.

When you steal your sins you flaunt,

and that evil you then feed.

Here is a fact quite simple.

I represent the valuable things you’ve got.

Each key the status symbol,

of power that can be bought.

There is so much rich symbolism when thinking about a key! Great job!
