The Joy of Self-Destruction
The Re-Construction of Self.

The things that harm me most have always been the ones I've found to have the most seduction,
Armed with the spirit of the rebellious, I was never capable of taking any instruction,
At the sight of any beauty I'd imagine it's annihilation,
I'd picture standing inside the Colloseum, as I watched the walls around me crumbling,
So whenever I climbed new highs, soon enough I would find myself tumbling,
Slipping back into those wicked old ways, the damaged's way of coping,
Take one drink, no, make it two, and soon the bottles empty,
The ethanol based drowning of the demons down inside me, our mutual devastation,
To accept the hole within yourself is the first step to becoming your own construction,
Finally, I have found satisfaction within my self-destruction.
