The Journey of Love

Love is a river that flows and bends,

A winding journey that never ends.

It twists and turns, and takes us on,

A journey of the heart, from dusk till dawn.

Sometimes the water runs so fast,

It's hard to keep up, and make it last.

We hold on tight, and ride the wave,

And let our love be our guide and save.

Other times, the river runs so slow,

It's easy to lose sight, and let it go.

We drift apart, and lose our way,

And wonder if our love will ever stay.

But then the river turns again,

And we find ourselves in a brand new bend.

We see new sights, and hear new sounds,

And our love is renewed, like we're newly found.

Love is a river that ebbs and flows,

A journey that's never quite known.

But we take it together, hand in hand,

And make our way through life's shifting sands.
