The Iron Knight

A Ballad of the Warhorse

By mahmoud elsaadPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

With muscles like thunder, and coat black as night,

The warhorse he stands, a fearsome sight.

His armor of plate, a shield from the fray,

He carries a hero, come what may.

His nostrils flare hot, with a battle cry near,

His eyes blaze with courage, devoid of all fear.

He snorts and he stamps, a pawing of might,

A warrior's companion, ready for fight.

He charges with fury, a force to behold,

A storm on four hooves, a story untold.

Through clashing of steel, and banners unfurled,

The warhorse, a legend, a knight of the world.

He carries his rider, with unwavering trust,

Through battles and blood, in the name of the just.

His spirit unbroken, though battles take toll,

The iron knight charges, for victory's call.

So sing of the stallion, who carries the brave,

A symbol of valor, beyond the grave.

May his legend ride on, through history's rhyme,

The iron knight thundering, through the sands of time
