The Invisible Killer.

Depression - Let’s End The Stigma.

And she cries into the night

with her marks

she keeps out of sight.

Waging an invisible war,

you can't make others see,

nor can you ever put it into words

that could do it justice.

It's silent, deadly,

the most sneaky

of it's kind.

It often hides behind

sweet smiles and laughter.

We often don't have the answers

so don't expect us to explain

in any coherent manner.

It's hard to fight

with smiles and positivity

when it's as simple

as brain chemistry gone wrong

but no one believes

it's just that easy, right?

Smile the sadness away, right?

It's hard to fight

what we can't see,

It's hard to fight

when no one else believes

or takes you seriously.
