The Introvert

From the inside out.

By Joe PattersonPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

You will hardly ever see me, I keep to myself. Sitting alone with my thoughts thinking deep to myself.

In my own mind I have all the power. Send me to a party and I'll be the definition of a wallflower.

I don't think other people are worthless, but I can't be around them because it makes me nervous.

When I sit in solitude I have a better attitude because my comfort zone has reached a higher latitude.

In the presence of others my anxiety is high. It's just a reaction, I don't mean to be this shy.

I guess you can say for me, every day is short. Attempt small talk with me and you'll find the conversation short.

my lone-wolf attitude won't let me talk away. When approached by others I have to walk away.

I can't stand the environment of a crowded place. It feels like I'm being invaded by a crowded space.

My social skills are a heck of a wreck. When in full effect many people can compare me to Shrek.

I am in-home treasure, not one for the out-home pearls. I desire to be cut off from the out-home world.

For me, you can say riding solo is different work. Hello strange world, you can call me the introvert.
