the intention of alchemy

a song painted

By Nadia YassinePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Its not everyday you see a work of art that depicts the way you feel life sees your strings. You hear the beat to which the artist painted the rythm of the painting. Feel the color in which their heart bleeds to be seen and are able to sympathize with how the brush strokes fall. Being able to see the gaps of yourself through the expression of another artist and finding beauty that has been lost to you before. Artists alchemize playlists, emotion, perception, and their own imagination into pieces for you to clearly see their eyes staring back at you. A portal into new frequencies and a hawk eyed view into seeing the world in a completely different way. Understanding that the woman and the violin are truly not that different. Seeing the strength in the fragility and melting into the delicacy of the delicate treatment they both require. The artist masterfully weaves the grace it takes for both energies to hold themselves up high. Solid foundation creates a beautiful symphony in both objects inanimate and the ones that breathe life, but whos to say that the violin isn't alive when we put our life into it. And thats the alchemy the medium of painting captures. they freeze emotions we cannot see, but only feel with our presence; making them a present in our present time for as long as we choose to take notice.
