Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States today. The ceremony took place inside the U.S. Capitol due to extreme cold weather. Trump is the second president to serve non-consecutive terms and the first convicted felon to hold the office.

The event was marked by a call for "unity, strength, and fairness" in Trump's inaugural address, where he emphasized a "revolution of common sense". The ceremony was attended by political leaders, former presidents, and influential figures, including Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

Trump's return to the White House is seen as a historic political comeback, following his defeat in the 2020 election and subsequent legal battles. The inauguration was moved indoors for the first time in 40 years due to the dangerously cold temperatures.

Quite a day in history, wouldn't you say?
