The Immeasurable Listener

A christian poem

By Uhone Titus Published about a month ago 1 min read
A chrisrian poem that lifts souls and helps those who lack patience

The woods remembers
all my prayers.

The forest recites
all my shame.

The owls sing
all of my praise.

And if all those remembers,
then He does.

He reminded me
that divine postponement
is not divine rejection,

and His blessings
will be greater
than my cognitive horizon.

I sang praises unto Him,
and now I wait patiently,

knowing He is restless,
pursuing not for His sake,
but for mine.

I sang praises again
to the one who made it possible
for me to be
abundantly encompassed by grace.

He is not too far to hear,
and my prayers are not in vain,
nor trusting Him
when He said, “Fear not.”

Indeed, divine timing
often disguises itself as delay.

For He is
a loving God.
