How do I describe my diverseness?

Folks are called red.

Some are named brown.

Others are known as yellow.

Why am I different?

Even though I look decent

Seen as indifferent

I refused to be tagged

I refused to be marked.

I am the eastern jewel.

An Igbo rainbow

The beauty that rises from the east

Nature reflects its beauty in me.

The sun shines on my eastern portion

The moonbeam on my western section

The dust baked on my northern region.

In my south, the fields are painted in a green pasture.

The sun speaks of my diversity.

Redness in power!

Blueness in health!

The moon calls out my

Purpleness in femininity!

Yellow in creativity!

The dust reminds me of my

Grey in calmness!

White in existence!

The field show forth my

Greenness in fruitfulness!

Pinkness in tenderness!

My tribe is spelled in Ankara.

That is why I am the Adora!

I am the multicolor

With a multi-culture

The unique Igbo rainbow

Where I got my color!
