The Idle Mind

Non-Thinkers

The Idle Mind
Photo by Fernando Santander on Unsplash

dormant is the mind,

that never thinks,

a lost treasure forever,

a ship that sinks,

yet we trod into,

another day,

thinking thoughts,

we fail to display,

what foremost mixture,

fills the gap,

releasing tree limbs,

without a snap!

what ventures,

invoke solitude?

what passions,

must we elude?

to think, without thought,

I think not;

remembering at last,

that which we forgot!

so,

search extra deep,

to the center of the mind,

grab the treasures,

which there, you will find,

for the idle mind,

is unkind!!

been a while since Iโ€™ve submitted, hope you all enjoyed reading this little mind exploring adventure. As always, thanks for reading, ๐Ÿ˜Šโค๏ธ
