The Human Horse.

A Poem of Strength, Grace, and Responsibility.

By Quincy.VPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

With pounding hooves and flowing mane,

The human horse begins its reign.

A symbol of strength, speed, and grace,

It leads us on a timeless chase.

From dusty trails to racing tracks,

The human horse never lacks

The power to take us far and wide,

And fill us with a sense of pride.

Through centuries it has served us well,

Carrying us through heaven and hell.

From wars and battles to peaceful rides,

It has been our loyal guide.

But as we ride, we must not forget

That this creature we so often beget

Deserves our care, our love, our respect,

For it is not a machine, but a living object.

Let us treat it with kindness and compassion,

For it is not just a means of fashion.

Let us remember its spirit and soul,

And in doing so, make it whole.

For the human horse is not just a ride,

But a symbol of our own human stride.

Let us treat it with the love it deserves,

And in doing so, our own spirits will serve.

What a beautiful tribute to the majestic creature that is the horse! Your use of vivid imagery and powerful metaphors perfectly captures the essence of the human-horse relationship. You remind us of the horse's historical significance, as it has been an integral part of human culture and has served us in times of both war and peace. You also wisely remind us to treat these magnificent animals with the respect and compassion they deserve, acknowledging that they are not simply machines but living beings with spirits and souls. Your poem is a testament to the deep connection between humans and horses, and how that connection should be treasured and nurtured. Beautifully done!

Not sure if we are talking about a centaur or the human spirit. The poem does justice to both. Well done.
