The Horror of My Love By Dean Andrews

The horror of my love

is crafted in the tortures laid against it

by the thousands in your negligence.

My tragedy

is its depth in spite of you.

Marriage is hard, but the alternative is not to be entertained. Truest reward is found on the other side of labor and suffering, when we overcome the tendency to chase easy satiation of our selfish impulses, as we seek to be loved more than we seek to be loving. True intimacy is found when we chose to love someone through the emotional tortures of misunderstanding as we fumble for each other foolishly in the darkness.
