The Home That Love Built
With walls that echo stories told, And secrets kept from days of old,

Amidst the world's chaotic throng,
There stands a place where I belong,
A refuge from life's endless chase,
My sanctuary, my safe embrace.
With walls that echo stories told,
And secrets kept from days of old,
This dwelling, more than bricks and stone,
A tapestry of love is sewn.
In every room, a memory stays,
In every corner, sunshine's rays,
This haven knows both joy and strife,
Yet it's the heart that fills it with life.
The hearth, a hearth of warmth and cheer,
Where laughter lingers, crystal clear,
And in the kitchen's fragrant air,
Family recipes we gladly share.
Upstairs, where dreams take flight,
I've whispered secrets in the night,
In cozy nooks, I've found my muse,
And in each space, a purpose to choose.
The garden blooms, a vibrant sight,
With colors that dance in the morning light,
A haven for birds and buzzing bees,
A canvas of nature, swaying with ease.
Through storms and calm, it has endured,
Its foundations strong, its love assured,
The creaking stairs, the sturdy door,
In this abode, I find so much more.
For it's not just a structure or mere abode,
But a haven where love and life have flowed,
A dwelling place, both warm and kind,
The home that love built, for my heart to bind.
