1.

I wanted to cry badly

When Dad dropped the news

We were moving once again

We had just got adjusted

And to up and leave

After not even 2 years

Not an ideal prospect, really

Packing up all our stuff

The feelings I was feeling

Praying for the smallest inconvenience

So we could stay longer

But good things are temporary

Siblings were just as sad

Couldn't even say our goodbyes

To our many neighborhoods friends

Had that early morning departure

Got everyone in the car

Suitcases and bags as well

On the road all day

Trekking to our new home

surreal poetry
