3.

Feeling good walking back outside

Going to grab my bags

That room was looking good

No one was stopping me

Let me rephrase that statement

My older brother stopped me

As I'm walking back upstairs

Right behind me he's shouting

Hey, I called that room!

My inner happiness immediately changed

He began pleading with Mom

Mom please, I'm the oldest

He was pissing me off

I clearly called first dibs

But she didn't wanna listen

It's cool though I guess

He's a lame for that

Time to search for elsewhere

This really shifted my mood

Time to adjust and adapt

surreal poetry
