The beggar sits, by the busy street,

With a cup in hand, and tired feet,

A forgotten soul, in a world so fast,

A life so hard, that never seems to last.

The people hurry, with nary a glance,

Ignoring the plight, of this forgotten dance,

But look closer, and you might just see,

The hidden treasure, that's just waiting to be.

For the beggar holds, a heart so pure,

With a spirit strong, that will endure,

A story untold, a journey unique,

A life that's rich, with wisdom and mystique.

So let us reach out, with a helping hand,

And show the beggar, that they're not so bland,

For the hidden treasure, lies within their soul,

A reminder of the dignity, that makes us whole.
