The Hidden Loneliness of Social Media
When endless scrolling feels like company but leaves the heart empty

We smile in frames that hide the ache,
We laugh in posts that feel so fake.
A million hearts, yet none that stay,
A crowd of ghosts we meet each day.
The feed keeps moving, never still,
Yet leaves a hollow it cannot fill.
A silent ache behind the screen,
Where nothing’s quite the way it seems.
We crave connection, but it fades,
In endless scrolls, in fleeting shades.
The loneliest place is where we show,
The parts of us we’ll never know.
