The Hidden Faces of Friendship

Through trust, betrayal, and self - preservation

By Rohitha LankaPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Not every friend is a true friend to you!!!!!

One of the harsh truths of life is realizing that not everyone you call a ''friend'' is really one.

Some people are there only because they need you.

They are friends with you because they can be of use to you.

The moment you are no longer useful, they disappear as if you were never there.

To them, friendship is just a transaction.

Some people smile at you but stab you in the back.

They cooperate, admire you, and pretend to be happy for you.

But deep down, they are jealous of you.

They will pull you down when they get the chance.

Some are close to finding ways to destroy you.

They gain your trust.

Learn your weaknesses.

Then, use everything against you when the time is right.

Be careful who you share your life with.

They don't genuinely care about your struggles;

They just want updates so others can enjoy your story.

Beware of fake people

Not everyone who claps for you is happy for you.

Some are waiting for you to fail.

But despite all this, don't let the world change your kindness

Stay true,

Stay kind,

Keep your heart pure
