Sit still and reflect

In quiet moments, by the river's gentle flow,

I sit and ponder how swiftly time does go.

Life's tapestry unfolds, a weave of light and shade,

Moments fleeting, memories gently fade.

In youth's exuberance, chasing dreams afar,

I sought the future like a distant star.

Yet now I see, in the stillness of today,

The beauty of the moment, in a subtle way.

Reflections dance upon the water's calm embrace,

Each ripple whispers of a journey's grace.

For life is not a race to run with frantic pace,

But a melody to savor, each note a different place.

The laughter of loved ones, echoes in my heart,

A symphony of joy, a timeless work of art.

And in the silence, I find a quiet peace,

Where worries fade and all anxieties cease.

So let us cherish now, the gift that we possess,

Embrace the warmth of sunsets, feel the soft caress

Of gentle breezes, and the earth beneath our feet,

For life's truest treasures are found in moments sweet.

In the tapestry of life, each thread has its own glow,

Moments woven together, a story to bestow.

Let us live with presence, in each breath we take,

For in the now, our souls awake.

Gratitude
