The Guiding Star

Read it to achieve goal

A compass spins, uncertain, free,

Until a magnet's pull takes hold, you see.

So too, our spirits drift and roam,

Until a purpose calls us home.

A flicker first, a nascent spark,

A whisper in the silent dark.

A yearning deep, a quiet fire,

That grows with thought and strong desire.

It might be gentle as a breeze,

That guides the rustling through the trees.

Or powerful as ocean's roar,

That crashes on a distant shore.

To build a bridge, to heal a pain,

To sing a song, through sun and rain.

To learn and grow, to understand,

To lend a helping, honest hand.

Through winding paths and shadows deep,

Our aim's the promise that we keep.

A guiding star, a steady light,

That leads us onward through the night.

Though storms may rage and doubts may rise,

The vision held within our eyes,

Will anchor us, and see us through,

To reach the goal we hold as true.

So find that aim, let it ignite,

And shape your journey, day and night.

For life with purpose takes its flight,

And fills the soul with warmth and light.
