The Great Lantern's Light

Piercing the darkness

Within moments, night-time flees through the penumbral shadows.

The cone of a single torchlight pierces the dark, creating daylight glows.

New perspectives open from this one point in the sky.

Then the great lantern awakens another vision in the third eye.

*

The silence under the morning’s shroud, holds no sound

of those who shed blood, that remains part of this ground,

where usually apples, cows and corn are the major yield.

Invaders once entered, making this land, a killing field.

*

Now invaders are threatening at another door

though mothers cry that they can tolerate no more.

It does not matter of what land I speak.

With the eyes of a dove, peace and love do I seek.

An elegant fusion interaction feeds the great lantern's light

that makes life possible, without a single fight.

The divine light of Earth’s lantern forms the hourglass of time,

that pierces darkness outside and within, throughout infinity sublime.

The lanterns light is not alive, but it can die.

Kill the flame to know what powers darkness can amplify.
