The Good Spell for Love
I filled the bag with quiet care
leaf and stone and open air
no hearts to break, no threads to tie
just honest steps where paths run dry
The silver sign, a watchful guide
stands for truth, not foolish pride
its edges sharp, its meaning clear
no false embrace, no whispered fear
The crystals rest in steady form
green for peace and purple warm
no charm to bind a passing face
just space for love to find its place
I spoke no plea, I claimed no prize
I looked with calm and steady eyes
and if you come, you come by will
no empty words, no quiet thrill
Let love be strong, let love be kind
not trapped in spell or tangled mind
I leave this here beneath the sky
and walk my road, with head held high
