Limerick written for the Ludicrous Limerick Challenge

*

I went out with old friends from high school.

We wanted to break rules and feel cool.

So we hit up the hometown,

and got quite renowned

for acting like big silly fools!

*

We danced on the bar and sang loud.

Our old teachers would surely be proud.

We laughed and we drank

and yelled "turn up the Hank!"

then we stumbled back home feeling wowed.

*

The next day we all felt really sore.

Our bodies ached and our heads felt so poor.

But the memories we made

will not ever fade,

and we'll do it all again for sure.
