**The Glamour Trap**

In mirrors of crystal, the world seems so bright,
Fashion whispers secrets in the softest of lights.
Threads woven with dreams, each stitch a desire,
But beneath the satin, lurks a dangerous fire.

Runways that glitter, masks that conceal,
The truth of the fabric they dare not reveal.
In the gleam of the spotlight, shadows take form,
A tempest of envy brews in the storm.

The hems are too tight, the heels far too high,
In pursuit of perfection, how much must we buy?
The price of the image, far steeper than gold,
A soul left in tatters, for the body to mold.

Silhouettes whisper, but the echoes are loud,
Of lost identities in a faceless crowd.
Beauty distorted, in each glance, in each pose,
But the thorn’s in the rose, as the industry grows.

Step off the runway, shed the disguise,
