The Girl Who Stuck a Sweet Up Her Nose
The doctor saved the day

The Girl Who Stuck a Sweet Up Her Nose
She said it was cherry but we’ll never be sure
She jammed it in sideways, a bold little blur
Her dad said “Stop it!” but she grinned and froze
Then proudly announced, “It’s gone up my nose”
Mum dropped the washing and screamed from the sink
Her dad just shook his head and tried not to blink
The doctor just sighed, said “This isn’t my first
Was it fizzy?” he asked, “Because that makes it worse”
It started to fizz like a firework gone wrong
She hiccupped and snorted and hummed a weird song
A bubble came out with a sugary spray
Her nose put on shows all through that day
They tried a small vacuum, they tried a long tweezer
She said “I don’t mind, it just makes me sneeze-er”
The doctor leaned close with a mutter, “Oh please”
She sneezed out a jet and dropped him to his knees
At last the sweet shifted and rolled clean away
The doctor just muttered, “Take her home please, I pray”

Another cute one and I bet would be a good remember poem to read to preschoolers and Kindergarteners 'Did you ever poem'. Still think you should put all these into a regular book. Good job and really like all the pictures you chose.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face today :-)
