The Gift of Now
A Holiday Reflection in Moments

Beneath the glow of twinkling lights,
We gather close on silent nights.
The world outside is wrapped in snow,
But in our hearts, warm fires glow.
Old stories whispered, soft and sweet,
The rhythm of our hearts’ heartbeat.
The kitchen hums, a cinnamon breeze,
As time slows down with gentle ease.
Each laugh a melody so clear,
Each hug, a promise drawing near.
The season’s gifts are not just gold,
But moments shared, both new and old.
Through frosted glass, I see the stars,
A reflection of how near we are.
The presents, bright and beautifully wrapped,
Pale next to love that’s never trapped.
For home is more than walls or stone,
It’s where we’re loved and never alone.
The holiday spirit, pure and true,
Lives in the little things we do.
So here’s my wish, not wrapped in bows,
But in the love that gently grows—
That every heart, through joy or strife,
Finds warmth and peace within this life.
