I have been blessed with the gift of blue.

Much like water, I am shapeless.

I am a drop, I am a steady flow.

I am your glass half full.

I am the rain when I’m falling.

I am a puddle, both stomped on and played in.

I am a stream moving rapidly.

A river. I am a river.

And a lake.

And an ocean.

Even the sea.

My form can change if that’s what you need of me.

I am the never ending sky on a cloudless day.

And the depth you feel when you listen to slow piano.

I am a minor chord.

I have been blessed with the gift of blue.

Each and every hue.

Just for you.

The gift of blue.
