Narrative, Rose to your Martha

Try to find me within her

but I’m moving away

My long shadow cast

I burn your name

Just a ghost

flame

These were very therapeutic to write! I don’t usually dabble in poetry nor touch this subject with a ten-foot pole, so this prompt was way out of my comfort zone. However, I (unexpectedly) had a lot of fun; so much apparently that I wrote three entries to this competition.
