A Poem on the Beauty of Slowing Down

The world moves fast, a constant race,

We rush from place to place, with little grace,

The pressure builds, the stress, the fray,

We forget the calm, the peace, the way.

But when we slow, and take a pause,

The beauty shines, and life’s applause,

The gentle descent, a peaceful glide,

Reveals the world, with all its pride.

The skies turn pink, the sun descends,

The night sky shows, its magic ends,

The stars they twinkle, in the sky,

Their dance is slow, their beauty nigh.

So let us slow, and take a breath,

And appreciate, this gift of life,

The gentle descent, a peaceful rise,

Brings us closer, to our own light.
