The Gathering at the Apple Tree
All Creatures are Invited

All around the apple tree,
Amazing animals they be,
Antelopes and armadillos,
All gathered there, oh what a thrill-o!
Aardvarks and alpacas too,
All waiting for a grand debut,
As the sun sets in the west,
All creatures here, they are the best.
Amidst the leaves and flowers bright,
A baby bird takes its first flight,
Ascending high into the sky,
All eyes upon it, none can deny.
A butterfly flits in the breeze,
As ants march on with such ease,
A chameleon changes color quick,
A deer nibbles on a twig.
All around, the world comes alive,
As the creatures begin to thrive,
And all who witness cannot help but see,
A beauty that cannot be set free.
As the night falls and stars shine bright,
All creatures rest till morning light,
And in the morn, they'll come again,
All gathered around the apple tree, amen.
As the sun rises in the east,
All creatures gather for a feast,
Ants bring food, birds sing sweet,
All gathered around the apple tree, complete.
As the day goes on, the animals play,
And all the while, they sing and sway,
A chorus of life, a song of joy,
All together, they cannot be destroyed.
And so the days go on and on,
As the creatures play till dawn,
And all who witness cannot help but see,
A beauty that cannot be set free.
All around the apple tree,
Amazing animals they be,
And all who witness cannot help but know,
The love and beauty that they show.
