The Garden of Endless Hopes
Hopes that Squeezing our lives

I planted one hope,
watered it with sleepless nights,
fed it with sacrifice.
It bloomed—
yet two more rose in its shadow.

I chased them,
and when they blossomed,
four more grew,
then eight, then sixteen—
a garden without end.

I thought joy lived at the edge of tomorrow,
but each tomorrow slipped away,
leaving me thirsting again.
Then I turned—
and saw my family’s laughter
like wildflowers at my feet.
I saw the sky painted in quiet blues,
friends waiting with open arms,
the river of now flowing beside me.
Hopes will never end,
but life is not tomorrow’s promise.
It is here,
in the heartbeat of today.
