The Frog Jumped Over the Moon

...or Was It Fly?

By Cosmically EncodedPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Where do I start, Oh dear.

Oh my!

Did Frog jump over the Moon,

or FLY?

Was it he, Frog,

with legs long and limber...

Who hopped feather-weightless

to drop heavy as timber?

Or was is she,

the Fly?

(Yes, the type that Frog eats)

Was it Fly in the sky that we saw fly?

Was it both? Perhaps,

the Frog felt peckish...

Fly fretted and flew,

not to be Frog's side-dish.

The Moon knows,

she saw them up close.

Will Moon tell who passed

with an 'Hola! Adios!'?

In the night, by the Moon,

was a glimmer, a flash.

A Frog or a Fly...?

Then a bang and a crash

Moon, oh, Moon!

Please tell us the truth!

Who can we blame,

for the hole in our roof?
