The greenery of the soft blades of grass flutter around my feet
Stepping into the clearing where I see a Dragon
Strong, broad and majestic in it's stance
He knows I'm here and as I take steps closer
One step two steps
He doesn't hide from me
Instead he holds his head up to look at me
Standing now on his hind legs
The mythical creature shifts slowly into something else
His scales fade and turn to flesh
His head into the skull of a man
The man who was meant for me.
Through transformation his eyes remained shut
When they met mine I see beautiful Blue eyes
His warm smile and gentle laughs
He pulls me into the warmest hug
accepting me, loving me and cherishing me for all that I am
The man who helps me remember to believe in me
I can still feel butterflies when I'm around him
and I cherish all our adventures
There is still an adventure that still awaits
I will hold him in my heart with all my might
Conquer the new challenges I know that await
I know and appreciate knowing that he'll be
by my side along the way.
He's my best friend, the man of my dreams, and
my soon to be husband.
